DerrocAr is a political card tabletop game set during the 2001 Argentine crisis, a period when the country saw five presidents change within weeks. The game recreates the tense political situation where players aim to become the new head of state. You act as a provincial governor, trying to increase your influence and support while weakening opponents through political maneuvers, crises, and campaigns. The game is designed for 1–5 players. Players control senators and governors, purchase cards from the market, and use various tactics ranging from operations and lobbying to media campaigns. Rounds consist of two phases: in the first, actions are chosen on the board and cards are bought; in the second, cards are played, the economy is managed, and responses are made to events like unrest, protests, or political crises. The player with the most support at the end of the game wins, while others become mired in political chaos. DerrocAr features a modular system that allows adjusting the difficulty level according to players' experience.
