Distar RS-8X diamond core bits are designed for drilling heavily reinforced concrete, concrete, and masonry in wet mode.
The diamond core segments are produced using DIAFIX technology - a technology for manufacturing diamond teeth, where diamonds are arranged in even rows throughout the diamond segment layer, allowing more diamonds to be engaged simultaneously during drilling. This increases the drilling speed and extends the life of the bit. It is possible to use less water for cooling compared to other drilling crowns.

Under the rapidly developing construction technology, the strength, durability, and high resistance of new concretes to various external factors significantly complicate their drilling and cutting operations. The RS8-X diamond drills are designed to easily tackle extremely challenging hole drilling tasks. The DIAFIX technology ensures stable performance, as the special segment shape is designed for quick and easier drilling into the material. The composition of the diamond layer is specially created for drilling heavily reinforced concretes. The use of modern laser segment welding equipment ensures the tool's reliability and resistance to harsh operating conditions. The RS8-X drills easily handle any configuration of metal reinforcement in concrete structures. The RS8-X is used for work with diamond drilling machines with water supply.

The diamond segments are laser welded to the body, making them much more resistant to overheating and chipping.
Distar RS-8X bits are an excellent solution for drilling holes where there is a lot of reinforcement in the concrete and require minimal water for cooling.
The RS-8X drilling crowns (450 mm working drilling length) are manufactured in the following diameters: 42, 52, 62, 72, 82, 92, 102, 112, 122, 132, 142, 152, 162, 172, 182, 202, 250, 280, 300 mm.
Suitable for drilling with diamond drills mounted on a stand with power from 2.5 kW to 8.0 kW and having water supply.
Note: compared to RS7-X diamond crowns, RS8-X teeth are softer - they drill faster and easier, but they drill slightly fewer meters.
