The Carneo Pay bracelet uses passive NFC technology, which operates without a battery – the bracelet is ready for use anytime, anywhere.

Payment security is ensured through token generation. This means your actual payment card data is never transmitted during the transaction. This sensitive information is replaced with a unique digital token. The token works only on a specific device, significantly reducing the risk of data misuse. Even if someone intercepts the communication between the bracelet and the terminal, they cannot access your card, as the identifier itself is worthless and unusable outside the authorized system. If you lose the bracelet, simply remove the card from the Carneo Pay app. Payments with the bracelet are immediately blocked, but your card remains fully functional.

Card and Bank Support
The Carneo Pay bracelet is directly compatible with Mastercard cards issued by mBank, RaiffeisenBank, and ČSOB.
However, if you are using another bank or credit card (Visa or Mastercard), you can simply use the free Curve app, which allows you to link the bracelet to your most commonly used cards. This way, you maintain the convenience and freedom to pay with the bracelet practically anywhere.
