All about the product
USB 10 Gbps connection station for NVMe or SATA SSDs
AXAGON ADSA-M2C11 USB-C 10 Gbps quick connection station is a simple way to connect one NVMe or one SATA M.2 SSD to your computer in seconds. The open design allows for inserting or replacing the drive without screws, making it ideal for maintenance tasks, SSD testing, data transfers, or quickly expanding computer or laptop storage. It also comes with a USB-C 10 Gbps cable with a USB-A adapter.
Reliable data transfer
The USB 10 Gbps interface (USB 3.2 Gen 2) ensures reliable 10 Gb/s transfer speeds when copying large files, creating backups, or working directly from the external SSD. The achievable speed also depends on the type and generation of the M.2 SSD used. The station is based on the proven "Realtek RTL9210B" chipset, which helps maintain a stable transfer speed even under high load and prolonged operation. The result is smooth data transfer without significant fluctuations and efficient utilization of the connected SSD's power.
Drive recognition and hot swapping
When connected to a computer, the inserted drive is recognized as a regular external drive, ready for immediate use. You can store data, copy files, or manage storage. It supports M.2 SSDs without capacity restrictions, UASP transfer protocol, TRIM function (NVMe Deallocate / ATA TRIM), and SMART information reading. Of course, there is support for Plug and Play and power-saving mode.
Passive cooling with aluminum housing
Working with M.2 SSDs causes the entire connection station to experience higher thermal loads. The aluminum housing effectively dissipates the heat generated during operation and contributes to better thermal stability of the device. The sturdy metal construction also ensures reliable performance even during extended use and intensive data transfers. The non-slip surface limits the station's slipping on the desk and provides better stability during use.
Compatibility and easy connection
The included 25 cm USB-C cable with USB-A adapter makes it easy to connect to modern devices with USB-C ports, as well as older computers with traditional USB-A ports. If necessary, you can use an additional USB-C DC 5 V power input, which ensures sufficient power when using higher energy-demanding M.2 SSDs or less powerful USB ports. The docking station is compatible with older USB standards, as well as modern USB4 and Thunderbolt 3, 4 and 5 interfaces. The Plug and Play feature works without installing drivers, and support for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iPadOS, iOS, and ChromeOS operating systems is a given.
