This coffee is characterized by a subtle sweetness and slowly unfolding notes of wild strawberries. The coffee is particularly light: there is no bitterness or acidity in the prepared drink. After sipping a cup, a sweet aftertaste envelops the palate. This blend offers a perfect combination of coffee from different regions – Ethiopia, Honduras, Brazil, and Guatemala – with the main flavor notes resulting from coffee varieties originating from the African region of Kivu. Between the Congo and Rwanda lies Lake Kivu, where, in the mountains, the highest quality coffee beans grow. High altitude, fertile soil, and a tropical climate give the coffee a strong, juicy flavor and a pleasant, lingering aftertaste. These coffee pads are 100% compostable.
