Roanoke 1587 In the Year of Our Lord, in America. The small Roanoke colony is left alone after John White, who tried to bring more supplies from England to the colony, does not return as promised. Ominous prophecies become more frequent, and rumors of a dark force grow louder. Hoping for a man of God, the villagers appoint a witch hunter from among themselves. However, his hunt does not end even at the highest levels. Nine suspects come into his sights, including a priest and even the town mayor! But mere suspicion is not enough. The witch hunter needs evidence if he does not want to kill the innocent and turn the entire town against himself. Designed by Kasper Christiansen and Kåre Storgaard, "Pagan: Fate of Roanoke" is a social deduction card game set in colonial America in 1587. The essence of the asymmetric game is the battle between the witch and the witch hunter. While the witch aims to complete the ritual, the hunter tries to track her down and uncover her true identity. Both players use variable card decks, each containing 50 cards, and employ different resources to defeat the opposing side. In this struggle between two forces, a multitude of tactics and strategies can be applied to survive. The dark artwork by illustrator Maren Gutt brings to life the fanciful history of the lost Roanoke colony.
