Curly and wavy hair naturally has a drier structure – its cuticles also repel oils just like straight hair. A shampoo that aggressively strips hair does more harm than good: it raises the cuticles, increases frizz, and damages curl definition.
This shampoo works differently. Mild surfactants (sodium coco-glucoside, cocobetaine, coco-glucoside) cleanse without compromising the natural hair lipid barrier. Murumuru butter – a rare ingredient valued in textured hair care – nourishes and smooths the hair during washing. Coconut oil penetrates the cortex and limits protein loss. Hibiscus extract promotes elasticity and eases combing. Fenugreek extract, long known in Ayurvedic hair care traditions, maintains hair health and strengthens its structure.
