Extended Art cards make their debut in the Rarity Collection 5 set. Look for the Special Variant Art Card in the 5th position in every pack. Rarity Collection 5 guarantees a special alternate design card in every pack that has never been seen before. The set remains fully foil, but for the first time introduces exclusive cards – including the first Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Extended Art cards. Like the previous four Rarity Collection sets (including Quarter Century Bonanza and Quarter Century Stampede), Rarity Collection 5 consists of approximately 80 cards from the main set, filled with the most relevant tournament cards and beloved classics. From Chaos Angel to Kashtira Fenrir, from Number C104: Umbral Horror Masquerade to Mementoal Tecuhtlica – Combined Creation – this is one of the best opportunities to enhance your decks with meta cards. In every 5-card pack, 4 cards are drawn from the main set and may be of various rarities: Super Rare, Ultra Rare, Secret Rare, Starlight Rare, Platinum Secret Rare, and unique Prismatic-style Ultimate and Collector’s Rares found only in Rarity Collection sets. As in previous releases, the 5th card in each pack is drawn from a separate set. In Rarity Collection 5, this position is reserved solely for Variant Art cards. Most Variant Art cards feature short message-type phrases – some in English, some in Japanese. The card illustrations have been reworked with new backgrounds, accents, additional elements, and close-ups. Such cards are available only in Rarity Collection 5. Rarity Collection 5 also introduces Extended Art cards for the first time in Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG history. Ten popular fan favorites have been updated to cover the entire card area with the illustration. Among them are Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon, Kurikara Divincarnate, Super Polymerization, Dominus Purge, and others. These 10 Extended Art cards are mixed with another 58 Variant Art cards and can appear in the 5th position of the pack.
