Ultrasonic distance measurement module HC-SR04P. The sensor measures the distance to the nearest object based on how long it takes for sound to travel to the object and back. The module receives a HIGH (10 microseconds duration) start signal from the controller via the T pin to begin measuring, then sends a HIGH signal when it starts measuring and a LOW signal when it finishes measuring. The distance can then be calculated using the formula:
distance (m) = HIGH signal duration (s) * speed of sound (340 m/s) / 2

Note: the module must be connected before powering on; otherwise, it may function improperly. When connected to a powered circuit, it is sufficient to turn it off and on again. If it is necessary to connect to an operating system, the GND connection should be made first, followed by the other connections.
