Tap M3 709003001 allows precise tapping of blind holes in unalloyed and alloyed steel with a tensile strength greater than 850 N/ mm², cast iron, ductile graphite, zinc alloys, as well as bronze and other soft metals that produce long chips during machining.
The overall M3 709003001 tap length is 56 mm; working length 11 mm; individually packed in a practical plastic case. Thread angle "P" - 60 °.
For M3 tapping, drill a hole with a diameter of 2.5–2.7 mm. We recommend using high-quality ALPEN drills: HSS, ground HSS; for deeper holes HSS-CO or HSS-Co Forte.
