All about the product
Digital sensor for time-of-flight and ambient light measurement. The measurement range is from 1 cm to 500 cm, with a 1 mm resolution. Communication is done via the I2C (TWI) bus and powered by 2.6–5.5 V. The module does not provide direct distance measurement - it outputs data in the form of a histogram that can be processed using algorithms provided by ST. The sensor includes passive components necessary for proper operation. The connections are popular gold pin connectors, allowing the sensor to be wired or connected directly to a breadboard.
