Chemical agents alter or damage the main keratin structure, causing the protein bonds to break, leading to hair breakage. POWERPLEX ® preserves protein bonds, restores the structure of hair damaged in previous procedures by creating new bonds between amino acid chains.

No. 1 BOND CREATOR creates new bonds, protects and strengthens hair during coloring, bleaching, chemical curling, and straightening procedures. Protects hair from damage and breakage.
No. 2 BOND FORTIFIER nourishes and moisturizes, enhances the results of technical procedures.

Usage:

POWERPLEX ® can be used easily and quickly:
• The dispenser has a scale that allows you to mix the recommended amount accurately.
• The oxidant percentage and the proportions of the mixture used for the technical procedure remain unchanged.
• The duration of the stay of the respective products used during the technical procedures also remains the same.

COLORING:

- Prepare the mixture of dye and oxidizing emulsion as stated in the usage instructions of the coloring agent.
– Add 4 ml Powerplex No.1, regardless of the proportions and amount of the mixture, and mix.
– Apply the mixture to the hair and wait as long as indicated in the usage instructions of the coloring agent.
– Rinse until the water runs clear.
– Apply Powerplex No.2.
– Distribute through all hair evenly with a comb and wait 10 min.
– Rinse with plenty of water.
– Style as desired.
• Follow this procedure even when dyeing with especially lightening dyes.

BLEACHING:

- Prepare the mixture of bleaching agent and oxidant emulsion as stated in the usage instructions of the bleaching agent.
– Add 4 ml Powerplex No. 1 to 45 g of mixture, regardless of the proportions of the mixture, and mix.
– If the hair is very sensitive, it is recommended to increase the Powerplex No. 1 amount to 8 ml.
– Apply the mixture to the hair and wait as long as indicated in the usage instructions of the bleaching agent.
– Rinse with plenty of water.
– Apply Powerplex No. 2.
– Distribute through all hair evenly with a comb and wait 10 min.
– Rinse with plenty of water.
– Style as desired.

CHEMICAL STRAIGHTENING:

- Add 8 ml Powerplex No. 1 to 70 g of smoothing agent and mix.
– Follow the procedure indicated in the usage instructions of the smoothing agent.
– Rinse with plenty of water and towel dry the hair.
– Mix 16 ml Powerplex No. 1 with 90 ml of water and apply to the hair.
– Wait 10 min.
– Without rinsing the hair, apply Powerplex No. 2 and distribute through all hair evenly with a comb.
– Wait 10 min.
– Without rinsing, use the neutralizing agent, following the procedure indicated in the usage instructions of the smoothing agent.

CHEMICAL CURLING:

- Mix 4 ml Powerplex No. 1 into 50 g of chemical curling agent.
– If the hair is very sensitive, it is recommended to increase Powerplex No. 1 amount to 8 ml.
– Follow the procedure indicated in the usage instructions of the chemical curling agent.

CHEMICAL CURLING USING A SPRAY PRODUCT:

- After washing the hair with a preparatory shampoo, mix 4 ml Powerplex No. 1 with 50 ml of water and apply to towel-dried hair.
– Wait 5 min.
– Dry the hair and start the chemical curling procedure without rinsing the hair.

RESTRUCTURING:

- Wash the hair with shampoo containing chelators.
– Mix 16 ml Powerplex No. 1 with 90 ml of water.
– Apply to all hair and distribute through evenly with a comb.
– Leave for 5–10 min, depending on the hair.
– Without rinsing the hair, apply Powerplex No. 2 and distribute through all hair evenly with a comb.
– Wait 10 min.
– Rinse and style as desired.

COLORING WITH DYES CONTAINING DIRECT COLOR PIGMENTS:

- Add 1 ml Powerplex No. 1 into 6 ml of dyes with direct color pigments.
– Apply the mixture and leave it as indicated in the instructions of the product used.
– Rinse with plenty of water.
– Apply Powerplex No. 2.
– Distribute through all hair evenly with a comb and wait 10 min.
– Rinse with plenty of water.
– Style as desired.

KERATIN STRAIGHTENING PROCEDURES:

- Mix 4 ml Powerplex No.1 with 50 ml of straightening liquid.
– Follow the procedure indicated in the usage instructions of the keratin straightening agent.
– If the final step of the straightening procedure involves applying a mask, it is recommended to use Powerplex No. 2 instead.
