Gather the actors of another great animated show again! As a top-level talent agent, you know that the hottest new stars of this season are just waiting to be discovered. Assemble a completely new group of promising Toons and find out if your new actors will win this year's Critic’s Choice award! FlipToons: Season 2 is a fast-paced deck-building game for 1–4 players. This standalone expansion introduces a brand new group of animated animals dreaming of joining your production, including aquatic animals and sports stars. Additionally, the game features a new Return mechanic, adding even more surprises! FlipToons: Season 2 can be played on its own or combined with the original FlipToons as an expansion, expanding the game to up to 8 players and offering even more variety. Start each game with a deck of promising Toon actors. In each round, shuffle your entire deck, then take turns revealing Toon cards from the top of the deck and placing them in your 3 × 2 grid to conduct the selection together. Each Toon card has different talent effects that often depend on the grid position it occupies. Many cards interact with each other and can earn your studio Glory, but not every combination creates the desired screen chemistry. Some Toons just do not get along at all! After each Flip, count the Glory points of the current Toons grid and spend them to hire new stars. You can also spend some Glory to remove a card and send an unsuccessful actor off the stage. Reset Glory to zero, shuffle the deck, and reveal the cards again. If you gather 30 or more Glory in a single Flip, you will receive the Critic’s Choice award, granting extra Glory points and activating the end of the game. After that round’s market phase, it's time for the Final Flip. The player who gathers the most Glory during the Final Flip wins. Applause!
