"Splendor Kids" (in English)

Collect, deliver, shine!
The Queen of Splendor has entrusted you with an important mission: you must deliver food to her subjects! To accomplish this, you will travel across the kingdom along roads, carrying the collected resources. Each player who reaches the palace will be rewarded with a special trophy – the Medal of Splendor.

"Splendor Kids" is a completely new version of the popular strategic game, tailored to the needs of younger players. It perfectly combines racing with skillful planning and is great for learning resource management.

What does it involve?
During the game, players take turns doing actions clockwise. On each turn, they can perform one of two actions:

• Take resource tokens that you will keep on your basket board. You can hold a maximum of 8 tokens, so use your space wisely!
• Move your traveler’s pawn. You move along separate paths, and each movement costs something. This way, you deliver resources to towns and villages.

When a pawn reaches the palace, the Queen immediately rewards its owner with the Charm Medal. At that moment, the gates begin to close, allowing the remaining adventurers to take one last turn. Anyone who reaches the palace during this time will also receive a medal and share in the victory.

• This is a completely new version of the popular strategic game, fully adapted to children's needs and abilities. The main element is still collecting colorful tokens to achieve goals, but the rules have been simplified.
• The games allow for the development of planning skills and efficient resource use.
• The double-sided board segments provide variety in later games, and the instructions describe an alternative game mode with additional rules that can be implemented once we learn the "Splendor Kids" rules.
