All about the product

All of these sponge components are from nature. It is 100% biodegradable, so after use, "Mother Nature" will accept it. She has shared her gifts, and by using them, you can return to her. Bury it in your garden as natural compost or place it at the bottom of a pot to help the plant retain moisture! Consider using the sponge as a pleasant ritual during which you can feel an emotional connection to the nature surrounding you.

Be waste-free!

One person uses about 6 face cleansing sponges made from non-compostable synthetic materials each year. Every month, we produce tons of sponge waste worldwide, which decomposes very slowly.

Protect the environment by replacing them with plant-based sponges that are biodegradable. We use a similar amount each year, but they do not pollute the environment; they belong there.

What is a plant-based sponge made from?

This sponge is made from the roots of the konjac plant, which grows wild in Asia. It has been used in Japanese medicine for centuries due to its health-improving and nutritional properties. The plant contains a unique type of fiber – glucomannan, which can absorb 100 times more water than cereal fibers. The plant sponge is 100% natural, with no additives.

What skin type is the natural konjac sponge suitable for?

This natural sponge is the gentlest way to cleanse all skin types, including sensitive and allergy-prone skin. Konjac, with no additives, is rich in vitamins and minerals essential for proper skin function.

What makes the konjac sponge special?

– The miracle plant of the Riviera, or konjac, is used in cosmetics for its softness, delicacy, and deep cleansing effect.
- The structure of the sponge does not damage the skin's hydrolipid layer.
- After soaking, it increases in volume, becoming gel-like and pleasant to the touch.
- Helps restore the skin's natural pH.
- Its softness remains unchanged until the end, unlike many materials used to produce face and body cleansing accessories.
You can use it not only for cleansing but also for facial massage. It removes dead skin cells and cleans deeply. It stimulates the skin, promotes renewal, and improves elasticity and firmness. The skin becomes thoroughly cleansed, fresh, and smooth.
- Due to its structure, which lathers very well and enhances the action of active ingredients, the sponge allows for minimal use of cleansing products. It can also be used alone.

When to replace the konjac sponge?

It is worth replacing the sponge approximately every three months. Since it is made from natural materials, its structure changes with use and may start to separate or crumble. These signs indicate that it's time to replace it.

Usage: wet the konjac sponge and gently squeeze it. Gently massage your face in circular motions. You can also use it on sensitive skin around the eyes. After use, rinse the sponge, press out the excess water (do not wring it out!), and naturally dry it in a well-ventilated area.

Always use the sponge when it is wet (never dry).

For disinfection, dip the konjac sponge in boiling water for 2 minutes every few weeks.
