All about the product
Arthur and Mordred fell on the battlefield of Camlann. Arthur's body was taken to Avalon, but unbeknownst to the fairies, Mordred followed close behind. The shattered son of King Arthur is not dead. Using forbidden knowledge, he withstood the wounds inflicted by Excalibur and reached Avalon through secret paths. Now the veil between the magical and mortal worlds is torn, and the wound calls out like a beacon. The path is open, now visible to all who possess the gift of sight. They arrive – some to defile this land, others to defend it. Avalon: The Riven Veil – a territory control and exploration game based on Arthurian legends, where you will lead powerful factions through the misty veil and explore what lies on the mystical island of Avalon. Explore the fog, discover legendary power-giving items, connect with mythical beings, seek the Holy Grail, and prepare your forces for war. The game ends at the conclusion of the last season – the 2nd or 3rd, depending on the chosen duration of the game. Each player earns victory points for the settlement spaces revealed on their Faction board. The game is won by the player who has the most victory points at the end of that season.
