New miniatures: for experienced players, this edition offers an entirely new set of 16 miniatures, including the P-40 Warhawk, Tiger Tank, AVRO Lancaster, FW-190, IS-2 tank, HMS Hood, He-111, and the aircraft carrier Akagi. These miniatures can also be used in other Axis & Allies series games. Game overview Five major powers fight for global dominance. Germany and Japan form the Axis alliance, opposed by the United Kingdom, Soviet Union, and the United States. The game is designed for 2 to 5 players and takes you to the year 1941 when the Axis powers are rapidly expanding their conquests in Europe and Asia. By controlling one of the Axis or Allied nations, you will not only manage your country's military forces but also its war economy. Plan offensives, redeploy your troops to strategically important territories, and win decisive battles.
