All about the product
Educational STEM constructor – a wooden fan model kit that can be assembled. The constructor helps children familiarize themselves with the basics of physics and engineering in the simplest way.
Features:
This constructor is a toy and educational tool in one. The educational kit allows future engineers and meteorologists to assemble and operate a functioning miniature fan while learning about aerodynamics and engineering technologies.
The toy helps understand the science of air flows and the importance of climate control, inspiring future engineers and environmental enthusiasts.
During assembly, the child develops fine motor skills, precision, and engineering thinking. The model helps understand the structure of a simple electric fan and comprehend how everyday objects surrounding a child work.
The parts are made from high-quality, child-safe materials. The sturdy construction is designed for use and safe play. The model is also suitable for educational activities.
Young engineers can paint and decorate the toy with decorations to give it a unique style.
Easy assembly: simple and clear instructions allow children to assemble the toy with minimal adult supervision, making the kit suitable for both independent work and activities with parents.
STEM (Science + Technology + Engineering + Mathematics) is an educational method that integrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics into a cohesive learning model to prepare the younger generation for a rapidly evolving technological world.
This is a great gift choice, as well as for schools and education institutions where simple, reliable, and clearly functioning teaching models are needed.
Operating principle:
The main part of the model is a direct current motor which, powered by batteries, turns the propeller and creates an airflow.
The fan's on/off is controlled by a switch.
Building a circuit: By connecting the battery holder, switch, and motor, the child learns what a closed electrical circuit is. When the switch is turned on, the electrical circuit closes, and electric power from the batteries flows to the motor. The motor coil, influenced by the magnetic field, starts to rotate. This is how electric energy is converted into mechanical – rotational motion, which turns the propeller, and the propeller creates airflow.
Engineering literacy: The ability to read diagrams and correctly connect components so that the system works (e.g., not mixing polarities so the fan blows air forward, not backward) is developed.
Educational value: The model practically teaches the principles of physics and electrical engineering, energy transformation into motion, and circuit management.
Purpose: for learning at home, in the classroom, for project activities.
