DISTAR ELEGANT 100 mm cutting disk designed for exceptionally clean cutting of glazed tiles, glass mosaics, stoneware, overcooked tiles, ceramics, and porcelain tiles.
Cuts glazed tiles cleanly!
Chipping edges is a major issue when cutting glazed, shiny tiles or overcooked porcelain ceramics.
The decisive factor for the cleanliness of the cut is the diamond disk.
The ELEGANT cutting disk is the best solution when the highest quality is needed for cutting complex materials.
The disk uses very fine diamond and self-sharpening bonding material.
The small 100 mm disk diameter provides a cleaner cut compared to 115 and 125 mm diameters, as the method of cutting practically does not lead to side movements and the disk has minimal vibrations.
The disk provides such a clean cut that it is almost impossible to find even the smallest chips, even on glazed tiles. Further edge processing is not required.
The disk also does not leave chips on the reverse tile fixing side. This is especially important when making countertops and ceramic furniture.
It is the cleanest cutting disk in the entire Distar product line. Use and enjoy the result.
The disk is used in handheld angle grinders without cooling.
Tip: when cutting glass mosaic, we recommend misting the tiles with water.
