Stable and future-ready with ATX 3.1 standard and powerful 12-volt line
The Nihon 650 Watt power supply is designed in accordance with the ATX 3.1 standard, so it can easily cope with the demands of modern components, including high-performance graphics cards. Support for momentarypower excursions, reaching up to 200% of the GPU’s nominal demand, allows the computer to maintain stable operation even during dynamic load changes. A powerful 12-volt line, the quality of which was confirmed in the aforementioned Cybenetics tests, is responsible for stable power supply of key components - the power supply showed very good voltage regulation and low ripple levels. This is a solid base for today’s and future configurations of your gaming PC.
12V-2x6 connector compliant with PCIe 5.1 standard
GENESIS Nihon 650 W is equipped with a state-of-the-art 12V-2x6 connector, which is the successor to the earlier 12VHPWR standard and complies with the PCIe 5.1 specification. Its improved design improves connection security and reduces the risk of incomplete cable plugging problems. In turn, the included 12+4 pin PCIe 12V-2x6 cable is made of Tinned Copper, which allows it to handle up to 450 watts of power, making the unit ready to power the most efficient compatible graphics cards using a single connector. It’s a practical solution that will work perfectly in your computer.
Japanese main capacitor = durability without compromise
When designing NIhon Series Power Supplies, we used capacitors rated for up to 105°C, including a high-end Japanese main capacitor in the primary section. Such selected components further promote stable operation of the unit, improve the durability of the power supply system and help maintain reliability during long-term loading. This is an important design element that distinguishes the power supply from the basic solutions used in budget units. At GENESIS, we do not recognize compromises.
Premium cooling thanks to FDB fan
We used a Fluid Dynamic Bearing(FDB) fan in the Nihon 650 W power supply unit, designed for quiet and long-lasting operation. This allows the unit to effectively dissipate heat under load, while maintaining a good operating culture and supporting the life of the components used. And you? You don’t worry about unnecessary noise and high temperatures.

The GENESIS Nihon 650 Watt Global version supports a wide input voltage range of 100-240 V, allowing it to work with power grids used in different countries around the world. Compared to units that only support the 200-240 V range, the Global version offers greater versatility and a more extensive input circuit with APFC and noise filters that help reduce the impact of power grid interference on the power supply’s operation. And less interference means fewer problems.
Aesthetic wiring and accessories for arrangement
We’ve used knurled, round braid-like cables in Nihon power supplies that combine flexibility, durability and easy routing inside the case. The included cable combs and Velcro make it easy for you to arrange your cabling aesthetically and help keep your finished setup neat and tidy.
