A 19“ rack wall mount is an open, fold-out frame mounted directly to the wall, which allows you to install 19” standard devices without using a full-size RACK cabinet. The mount is also lighter and smaller than a classic enclosure, taking up less space. With this wall mount, you can install patch panels, switches, routers, CCTV recorders, or PDU strips exactly where you need them—e.g., above the administrator's desk, in a small technical room, at an access point, or in a cable shaft. Compared to a standard standing or hanging cabinet, the 19" wall-mounted rack bracket takes up significantly less space, does not take up floor space, and its open design ensures natural cooling of the equipment. It is a good solution where:
the number of devices to be mounted is small (a few 1U/2U units),
simple and quick installation directly on the wall is important,
access to the devices does not need to be secured with a full server enclosure,
the budget is limited, and a full RACK cabinet would simply be overkill.

The presented Lanberg 19“ rack wall mount is a 6U model, designed in the 19” standard, intended for direct wall mounting. It is a foldable hanging frame, designed for compact network and server installations.
Quick installation, flexible cabling routing and system expansion
The Lanberg 19“ rack wall mount has been designed as a practical alternative to hanging 19” rack cabinets in places where equipment accessibility and space saving are important. The fold-out frame design facilitates the installation of devices – first, you conveniently screw them to the 19" profiles, and then hang the whole unit on the wall. This solution allows for quick and easy installation, even by one person.
There are numerous mounting holes in the rear and sides of the bracket, which allow the frame to be hung using wall plugs selected for the type of wall and provide complete freedom in routing cables and wires to the installed devices. The open design at the top and bottom makes it easy to route cable bundles to cable trays, conduits, or cable ties without having to drill additional holes.
If you require greater protection against mechanical damage or want to partially “close” the installation, dedicated covers are available for the mount – top and bottom – which allow you to enclose the frame from above and below, creating something between an open mount and a light wall cabinet.
Thanks to this, the Lanberg 19" wall-mounted rack fits well into scenarios where:
access to devices is needed “at hand,” without opening the cabinet door,
there is no requirement to lock the installation,
it is crucial to quickly start up the station (e.g., a point network node, CCTV backbone, small distribution node in a building),
