Apart from being used with felt tools, polishing pastes are also used in combination with cloth rings for pre-polishing and high-gloss polishing. If the intention is to achieve very smooth surface finishes, use several or even all types successively.Intended applications for the different types:
ST (sisal cloth) = Coarse pre-polishing with PP 1, PP 2 or PP 3
TH (hard cloth) = Pre-polishing with PP 1, PP 2 or PP 3
TW (soft cloth) = High-gloss polishing with PP 4 or PP 5
FL (flannel) = High-gloss polishing/buffing with PP 4 or PP 5
Polishing paste bars are available in a small pack and a bulk pack.
