Control reflections
It is widely acknowledged that circular polarizing filters (CIR-PL) are used to reduce light reflections from non-metal surfaces. The maximum point is usually the most commonly used position for the CIR-PL filter when reflections are minimized. However, there are cases where reflections need to be increased or adjusted according to the photographer's intention. In this regard, we can say that the CIR-PL filter is designed not just to reduce reflections but to control them.
