How the game works – simple rules

The goal of the game is to be the first to reach 10 victory points .

At the beginning of the game, the board is randomly assembled from terrain tiles, and players build their first settlements and roads. Each turn starts by rolling two dice. Then, all players collect resources from terrain tiles that match the rolled number and where they have settlements or cities.

During your turn you can:

• build roads, settlements, or cities,
• buy development cards,
• trade resources with other players or the bank.

You also need to watch out for the robber, who can block resource production on a tile and steal resources from opponents. The first player to reach the required number of victory points wins the game.
