Ensure your dog always has enough fresh water to drink. Daily nutritional needs for your dog may vary depending on the environment, size, age, and activity level. Recommended daily allowances are indicated in the feeding guidelines. Feed 1–2 times a day. Initially, give the indicated daily allowance, and then gradually adjust to keep your dog in lean condition. To maintain proper condition, ensure your dog gets plenty of exercise and do not overfeed. When transitioning your dog to a new food, change it gradually over 7–10 days, increasing the portion of the new food each day.
