pH / chlorine tester tablets
The pool water needs to be monitored constantly, and this pH and chlorine concentration testing kit will help save time and accurately determine what your pool needs.
The proper pH level is a fundamental condition for successful and systematic pool water maintenance. The ideal pH level should always be between 7.0 and 7.6, as this is where water treatment products achieve maximum effectiveness with the least amount.
The free chlorine value in pool water should be between 1.0 and 3.0 mg/l.
This testing kit allows you to quickly and easily determine the pH value and free chlorine concentration in pool water. Use phenol red tablets to determine the pH value, and DPD1 tablets to determine the free chlorine concentration.
The kit includes 20 phenol red tablets, 20 DPD1 tablets, and a tester (measuring cup with scale).
Usage:
- Fill the measuring cup with pool water until the chambers are completely filled.
- Now place 1 phenol red tablet and 1 DPD 1 tablet into the corresponding chamber (as marked). Do not touch the tablets with your fingers, otherwise the measurement results will be inaccurate.
- Shake the measuring cup until the tablets are completely dissolved, and the water in the chambers changes color.
- Now you can read the values on the measuring cup scale.
- After adding water treatment products and filtering the water, it is advisable to wait 2-3 hours and conduct a new test.
- We recommend checking the pH and chlorine levels at least twice a week.
