PHYSIOFORMA – THE UNIQUE SHAPE OF ALL CHICCO PACIFIERS
The "PhysioForma" shape helps position the tongue correctly in the child's mouth – when the mouth is closed, it moves forward and upward.
This tongue position supports the physiological opening of the upper airways, which facilitates physiological breathing (through the nose). Physiological breathing is extremely important for the proper development of the child.
The position of the tongue in the mouth also has a significant impact on the formation of the palate and the creation of space for the baby's first teeth.

THE PHYSIOFORM SHAPE IS:
- a thin and flexible base of the pacifier, allowing the mouth to close comfortably
- the nipple directed upwards, allowing the tongue to be naturally positioned
- a curved nipple that evenly distributes the tongue's pressure on the palate
- an indentation at the bottom of the nipple and fine grooves that mimic the natural shape of the palate, helping to position the tongue correctly

The "PhysioForma" shape is the result of collaboration between the "Osservatorio Chicco" research center, experienced pediatricians, and the Italian orthodontic society.
