The transition between daytime and nighttime recording is fully automatic, the camera automatically switches to night mode at dusk and, together with a powerful and invisible night light, takes photos of up to 8 MP quality or 1080p “Full HD” videos. Switching between cameras is completely silent. The photo trap uses a sensor to assess how much light is around and then automatically selects which camera to use for recording. This eliminates the mechanical filter used in conventional photo traps, which are silent but can scare off animals in front of the lens under certain circumstances. The daytime camera is equipped with a sensor that allows capturing images of up to 30 megapixels or 4K UHD video at 30 frames per second. The camera can store images on an SD card up to 256 GB or transfer data via the now-standard USB-C interface directly to a computer. There is also an SD card reader, so you can easily transfer data to a computer simply by removing the card. The camera is equipped with a case for 10 AA batteries with a voltage of 1.5 V. EVOLVEO StrongVision LOCK – 8 mm thick steel cable with a lock, allowing you to attach the photo traps to a tree even with a metal case. Or you can use them on a bike.
