All about the product
The Grove series module is based on the reflective sensor RS-06WD. It consists of an infrared light-emitting diode and a high-sensitivity phototransistor. Bright objects in front of the sensor will reflect more infrared light and generate more energy in the phototransistors than objects with dark surfaces. It is powered by 5 V. It has a digital output, making it compatible with many development boards, including Raspberry Pi and Arduino.
