All about the product
The Waveshare adapter allows you to connect a high-speed NVMe SSD using the M.2 interface to the PCIe bus. The module is also compatible with the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 expansion board and other boards with PCIe x1 / x4 / x8 / x16 ports.
NVMe SSDs have a much higher read and write speed than traditional HDDs. The adapter supports NVMe drives with an M key (notch on the right). The maximum NVMe data transfer rate is 32 Gbps. The bus supports devices of various sizes, such as 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280. The adapter has an LED that lights up when powered on and blinks during data transfer.
