The Dräger Alcotest 6000 BT replaces the popular Alcotest 5820 model. With improvements over its predecessor, it features an updated design and expanded measurement memory.
This version of the breathalyzer has an integrated Bluetooth module, allowing you to connect the breathalyzer to the Dräger Mobile Printer BT for convenient result printing.
Using the "Dräger Alcotest"® 6000 BT, you can quickly and accurately perform a breath alcohol concentration test. This small and user-friendly portable measuring device incorporates measurement technology that has proven itself in practice with over 200,000 devices used worldwide.
Easy to perform breath alcohol concentration tests
The device is ready for use in just a few seconds. A personal sobriety test (active measurement) can be conducted at any time. It is also possible to measure the alcohol concentration in the ambient air (passive measurement). In this case, a mouthpiece is not required.
All measurement functions are activated with a convenient OK button, and two menu buttons are used for navigation.
Universal and durable
The well-tested electrochemical Dräger sensor built into the Alcotest 6000 BT device features a short response time and long service life. It operates with exceptional accuracy and reliability. Test results are reliable, even if the temperature ranges from –5°C to +50 °C. The sensor ensures reliable results when measuring high alcohol concentrations using both active and passive measurement methods.
User-friendly
Working with intoxicated individuals requires special attention and focus. An important feature of the device is its intuitive control, which ensures ease of use and smoothness in conducting breath alcohol concentration tests.
All measurement functions can be controlled with just one button – making it easier to conduct the test. Readings on the large illuminated display are easy to understand, as they provide unabridged messages indicating each step of the sobriety test. Readings on the screen are supplemented with LED indicators and an audible signal. These devices notify the end of the measurement process. Two menu buttons are designated for navigating the menu, where various functions can be selected, such as viewing the results of the latest test.
Impeccable hygiene – "Slide‘n‘click" mouthpiece
The modern design device meets the requirements for conducting breath alcohol concentration tests quickly, simply, and hygienically. The "Slide‘n‘click" mouthpiece is designed to be intuitively inserted correctly, even in the dark. The Alcotest 6000 BT is ready for reuse as soon as the mouthpiece is replaced. The device rejects attempts to conduct a test with a clogged mouthpiece. The test opening must not be covered, thus avoiding manipulation during the air sample collection.
Due to the support on the mouthpiece, the test subject cannot press their lips against the device's housing. Additionally, if necessary, the mouthpiece can be removed by pressing the support. If needed, mouthpieces with a backflow valve can be purchased.
