Using a specially selected matte PEI sheet, the bottom surface of the printed object can provide a smooth and matte texture and enhance its overall appearance.

PEI allows printing not only with standard materials such as PLA, TPU, PETG, but also with materials that require high temperatures, such as ABS and nylon.

Note: If you are printing with filaments other than PLA, apply glue to prevent the sheet from tearing.

Bambu Smooth PEI plate has a 0.5 mm thick spring steel plate that improves magnetic adhesion. This helps prevent deformation and ensures optimal printing quality during 3D printing. It also aids in printing larger models using materials that tend to deform, such as ABS, PC, and nylon.

• Please note that using the Smooth PEI plate on A1 carries a higher risk of the plate warping from the corners or printed models detaching from the plate. This is caused by a thicker Smooth PEI adapted to the plate, which will increase the distance from the bed magnets and reduce magnetic attraction.
• If bubbles appear on the bottom of the sheet, they can be removed by heating it on the heating bed for several hours at a temperature no lower than 80 degrees.
• Dust and grease buildup on the build plate reduces adhesion. To maintain optimal adhesion, it is recommended to regularly clean the surface with detergent and water.
• Do not clean the Smooth PEI with acetone, as it will damage the PEI surface.
• Always wait a few minutes for the plate to cool down before removing printed models to make it easier to remove the print. This prevents damage to the plate and ensures a long product lifespan.
• Carefully sanding the surface with fine-grit (recommended 600) sandpaper can restore adhesion.
• The Smooth PEI plate is considered a consumable part that deteriorates over time. The warranty will only cover manufacturing defects, not cosmetic damages such as scratches, dents, or cracks. The warranty applies only to delivered sheets with defects.
