Operation of sand filtration: The “ProStar Profi 4” (formerly “BlackStar 4”) sand filtration system is inspired by nature – here rainwater, filtered through permeable rock layers, is transformed into crystal-clear spring water. During sand filtration, water flows through silica sand, where even fine impurities are trapped, and only clean, filtered water is returned to the pool. Therefore, it is important to rinse the filter sand frequently to prevent dirt from settling in it. We recommend rinsing the filter at least once a week. Composition and description: The “ProStar Profi 4” sand filtration system consists of a filter tank that holds 20 kg of filter sand. The tank is made of high-quality polypropylene (PP) and is seamless, resistant to corrosion and common pool chemicals. The filtration system includes a drain valve, pressure gauge, built-in components of the filter tank, including an easy-to-use 6-position valve (which is built into the lid of the filter tank), a 250 W pump motor, and a plastic base for installation on site. The system is made of high-quality materials, strictly adhering to technical standards, and passes output control. Package contents: Sand filtration instructions. The sand filtration system is typically supplied without filter sand and hoses. If you do not have these products, we recommend purchasing them along with the sand filtration system.
