This module is a converter that allows maintaining an interface between USB and UART serial interfaces at TTL level. It has a built-in FT232 chip and operates in the voltage range of 3.3 V to 5 V, which is selected by a jumper. The device operates at the full 12 Mbps USB speed. The module can be used to exchange data between a computer and microcontroller systems or to program electronic kits with serial interfaces, such as Arduino or STM32Discovery. To connect the chip to the computer, a cable with a USB Type C connector is required.
