All about the product
The “SparkFun” soft power switch Mk2 is a passive on/off power switch that allows you to start and safely shut down the system with short button presses. However, holding the button for a long time will cut off the power. The Mk2 version supports voltages from 1.8V to 5.5V and is designed for use with single Li-Po cells with a built-in 2-pin JST connector, so the typical nominal voltage will be 3.7V. The product features a built-in 2A self-resetting fuse, LED indicators, and the ability to connect a larger external button.
