More information about IP68 protection

The watch is water-resistant according to the IP68 standard, meaning it is dustproof and can withstand temporary immersion in water. The watch is not intended for diving, swimming, using in a sauna, or prolonged submersion in water. It is not recommended to shower with this watch, as the water protection is designed for normal temperatures. Due to high temperatures, the protection may deform, and water vapor may enter the device, which can damage the screen or chip due to corrosion.

If you are looking for a watch for diving or swimming, choose one with a water resistance of at least 5 atm (water pressure test).

Important notes:

• It is important to avoid contact with soapy water, salty water, water mixed with shampoo, conditioner, etc. Clean drinking water is used for testing in the IP testing protocol.
• Not all water-resistant watches can be worn in the shower, whether they are electronic, mechanical, or quartz.
• IP68 watches are not suitable for swimming, as different movements during swimming change the water pressure, which may allow water to enter the watch. Pressure fluctuations, such as jumping into water, may also cause problems.
