PolyLite PLA is a high-quality PLA designed to ensure reliability and ease of printing. The Starlight series features a color change effect, depending on light reflection.
The base of PolyLite PLA is high molecular weight Natureworks PLA, making it one of the stiffest PLA materials on the market. You can check the Young's modulus and bending strength data of PolyLite PLA in its TDS, which shows its stiffness, and compare it with other materials in our range.
The Polymaker Jam-Free technology increases the heat resistance of the plastic itself (not the printed part) up to 140 ˚C. This prevents any jamming issues due to the hot end heat creep problem. Heat creep is the process where heat unevenly spreads throughout the hot end, softening the plastic before it enters the melting chamber and expanding at the cold end. By increasing the heat resistance of the plastic from 60 ˚C to 140 ˚C, it ensures that the filament does not jam.
