The radio-controlled digital alarm clock TFA 60.2562.01.GB BOXX2 does not require any disposable batteries or a power adapter for continuous operation, as it has a built-in lithium-ion battery. It can be easily and economically charged using a micro-USB cable, so you can simply connect the alarm clock to a laptop or external battery. The display shows an indicator that informs you when the battery is running low. With one charge, the alarm clock will operate for up to 6 months. Another special feature is the ability to set alarms for different days of the week (Monday–Friday, Monday–Sunday, or any selected days). Two alarm times are available, and for each day, you can choose whether BOXX2 will ring at one or both of the preset alarm times. And if you don't want to get up right away, just press a button to activate the snooze function, giving you a few extra minutes in bed. You can set the snooze time to 5, 10, or 15 minutes. The alarm time is controlled by the DCF-77 radio signal. This ensures that the current time and date are always accurate and are set automatically when the signal is received. The current day of the week is highlighted on the display. The time and date display can be customized – choose to show seconds, calendar week, or year. The integrated thermometer and hygrometer allow you to check the room climate. For a good night's sleep, the temperature should be between 16 and 18 °C. The optimal humidity range is between 40 and 60%. To ensure that nothing disturbs you while sleeping, the automatic background lighting function can be activated. With discreet background lighting, you can sleep peacefully, and the display will be easy to read even in the dark.
