PrimaSelect NylonPower glass fiber is the latest high-performance plastic for your 3D printer. The 3D printing material is made from nylon 12 and is 16% reinforced with glass fiber. This composition results in an optimally durable plastic. Nylon glass plastic is perfect for the production of additional automotive industry components, drone structures, and RC parts.
PrimaSelect NylonPower glass fiber is an extremely useful material with unique properties. In this plastic, nylon is reinforced with small strands of chopped glass fiber. PrimaSelect NylonPower plastic offers incredible stiffness, structure, and excellent layer adhesion.
Additionally, NylonPower is very easy to process and has a matte surface. Excellent 3D prints are very stiff and ideal if you need an object with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. To process PrimaSelect NylonPower plastic, use a heated printing platform set to 60 ˚C to ensure the first layer adheres well to the working platform.
Due to the extremely abrasive properties of PrimaSelect NylonPower (the nozzle wears out quickly due to friction), we recommend using a hardened steel nozzle for this plastic. Using a regular brass nozzle is not a problem, but the nozzle will wear out in a short time. PrimaSelect NylonPower adheres to glass coated with glue.
