All about the product

Open the world of possibilities limited only by your imagination. NinjaFlex, the most advanced plastic for 3D printers, is a specially designed thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) that produces flexible, elastic properties in prints. The patented technology ensures smooth feeding and clean, high-quality printed parts.
The spring roller bearing used in the extruders creates pressure for the extruder drive mechanism. Due to its flexibility, the heated plastic must also be supported between the drive exit and the entry into the melting chamber.
NinjaFlex adheres well to most surfaces (including aluminum and glass), so it is not necessary to cover the working platform. Kapton tape can be used with NinjaFlex, but the adhesion of the printed part to the tape may be stronger than the adhesive holding the tape to the working platform.
While the low coefficient of friction of NinjaFlex has been designed to reduce surface stickiness and allow the plastic to move more easily, the use of PTFE guide tubes can be beneficial to further reduce extruder drag.
Although NinjaFlex does not contain BPA or other toxins, it is not recommended for use with food.
NinjaFlex generally works well using similar extruder settings as ABS, but adjusting the printer's retraction settings can improve print stop/start quality.
When switching from another polymer (e.g., ABS or PLA), it is advisable to clean thoroughly before starting to print. As with other materials, use a lower temperature (~180–200 °C) when heating to prevent excess material from leaking before you start printing.
NinjaFlex should be used in a well-ventilated area, adhering to recommended working conditions. TPE products at high temperatures may emit a small amount of smoke. While these fumes are generally considered tolerable and less harmful than ABS, care should be taken to minimize exposure, especially for sensitive individuals.
