"BuildTak" is a thin, durable printing surface. It replaces the need for blue masking tape and/or polyimide films like Kapton. Made from high-quality heat-resistant materials, "BuildTak" provides a stable platform for 3D printed objects to adhere to while allowing for clean and easy removal of finished materials.

"BuildTak" offers the following advantages

• Works great with ABS, PLA, and more, no need to change the surface. And no more pre-treatment methods like hairspray or acetone slurries!
• Easy installation on a bare print bed and clean removal without adhesive residue.
• Durable and optimally maintained can serve for many hours while ensuring greater protection of the primary print bed surface.
• Creates an optimal bond between the 3D printed object and the build surface throughout the printing process, while avoiding warping. Once the build is complete, the 3D printed object can be cleanly removed with minimal fuss or scratching.
• Patented, heat-resistant composition designed to withstand the typical temperatures used in heated print beds (i.e., 110-125 °C). For safety, "BuildTak" is made from UL flame-rated materials.
• "BuildTak" just works!

Key features:

• Works with ABS, PLA, HIPS, PET+, Wood PLA, and TPE, TPU
• Additionally, we managed to adhere nylon and PETT when used with a thin layer of washable glue stick on the "BuildTak" surface
• Installation is much easier than commonly used masking tape or films, with a lower likelihood of air bubbles
• Protects the build plate
• Heat-resistant and durable, can be reused for many consecutive builds and you can use various filament materials without needing to change the print surface
• Creates an optimal bond between the 3D printed object and the building surface, increasing the likelihood that your object will be held during printing, and then allows for clean and easy removal of the object from the build surface.
