Do you have problems with deformations when printing with a 3D printer? Then choose MAGIGOO - it is an easy-to-use 3D printing glue designed to solve the first non-stick layer (warping) problem. This is the most common 3D printing issue when using FFF/FDM technology.
BASF Ultrafuse 316L allows for the production of strong 316L stainless steel parts using desktop FDM 3D printers and a hardening process. Ultrafuse 316L plastic consists of highly refined metal particles embedded in thermoplastic binders. Thus, as a plastic, the metal and polymer composite is free from any occupational and safety hazards associated with handling fine metal powders. This allows for affordable, easy, and safe 3D printing of stainless steel parts.
Due to the nature of the thermoplastic binder materials and differential thermal cooling during FDM printing, the printed parts of BASF Ultrafuse 316L may deform. Additionally, due to the delicate nature of the green part, care must be taken when removing BASF Ultrafuse 316L printed parts to avoid deformation of the part. Printing with Magigoo Metal ensures reliable adhesion, and the printed part can be easily removed by dipping it in water, thus avoiding potential damage to the green part.
When using Magigoo Metal with BASF Ultrafuse 316L, a working plate temperature of 95-105 °C is recommended, but printing conditions may vary across different printers.
Using this product with plastics other than BASF Ultrafuse 316L may result in excessive adhesion and damage to the working surface.
