PrimaSelect NylonPower carbon fiber filament is a state-of-the-art high-quality plastic designed for your 3D printer. The thermoplastic is made from nylon 12 and is 20% reinforced with carbon fiber. This composition results in an optimally resistant material. Nylon-carbon plastic is perfect for the production of automotive industry components, drone structures, and RC parts.
PrimaSelect NylonPower carbon fiber is an extremely useful material with very special material properties. In this plastic, nylon is reinforced with small, cut carbon fiber strands. PrimaSelect NylonPower plastic provides incredible stiffness, structure, and excellent layer adhesion.
NylonPower is also very easy to process and has a matte surface. Excellent 3D prints are very stiff and ideal if you need an object with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. To process PrimaSelect NylonPower plastic, use a heated 3D printing platform set to 60 ˚C to ensure the first layer adheres well to the build platform.
Due to the extremely abrasive properties of PrimaSelect NylonPower (the nozzle wears out quickly due to friction), we recommend using a hardened steel nozzle for this plastic. Using a regular brass nozzle is not problematic, but the nozzle will wear out in a short time.
PrimaSelect NylonPower adheres to spray adhesives or glass coated with PA adhesives.
Each spool contains 500 grams of high-quality plastic. NylonPower is packaged on a transparent spool with a strong desiccant to protect against moisture. NylonPower plastic is controlled throughout the entire production process. This ensures that you receive plastic with a diameter deviation of +/-0.05 mm. We have made great efforts to ensure that each spool of plastic is perfect. Make sure that the plastic does not tangle on the spool. Carbon fibers mixed with nylon allow for very easy processing of this material in most 3D printers. We recommend a hardened nozzle.
