All about the product

PrimaCreator NylonPower PA 6/66 is a special copolymer blend 3D printer polyamide plastic that utilizes all the strengths of PA 6 and PA 66. Due to the combination of these two types of polyamides, our nylon is very easy to print in 3D. Generally, printing in 3D with nylon (PA) is very difficult. Using standard nylon 3D printer plastics, you will struggle to adhere to the build plate. With NylonPower, you can use a lower 3D printing temperature than you would normally use with nylon. Use this material in the most commonly used FFF/FDM 3D printers.
When printing in 3D with nylon, you should do so on a heated platform plate. For the best adhesion, we recommend using Magigoo PA. The temperature should be 60-80 °C.
Nylon has strong mechanical strength and deforms less. It is hard to tear or break. Additionally, nylon is also one of the best materials when it comes to impact resistance. Nylon is very hygroscopic. This means it absorbs moisture. This can be beneficial if you want to dye the plastic. It also means that it is important to dry the nylon before use. You can set the chamber to a temperature of 70–80 °C and leave it for 4–8 hours. The longer you leave it, the drier it will be. This will also reflect the finished printing result both visually and in terms of performance.
