LaQ also meets the standards of the United States (US) Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), which sets requirements regarding the use of lead and phthalates (health-hazardous man-made pollutants) in children's products, toy safety, and long-term use of baby and toddler items.

LaQ meets ST CE ASTM EN CCC and HR4040 (101, 108 16CFR 1303 section) safety standards. Section 101 regulates the amount of lead and lead paint in children's products. Section 108 prohibits the sale of certain products containing specific phthalates.
