All about the product
The Grove laser PM2.5 sensor (HM3301) is a next-generation dust/air quality laser sensor that allows real-time monitoring of air quality. It features a sensor capable of detecting PM2.5 particles larger than 0.3 µm, such as cigarette smoke. The sensor uses an innovative fan blade for air movement through the detection chamber, where a sample is taken. The system is powered by a voltage of 3.3 V to 5 V and interacts with the I2C interface. It works with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone Wio, LinkIt ONE modules, and most other microcontrollers. The package includes a cable with a Grove connector.
Key features:
- High sensitivity to dust particles of 0.3 μm or larger
- Real-time dust detection in the air
- Laser light scattering technology ensures measurement accuracy, consistency, and stability
- Quiet operation of the device
- Very low power consumption
