Distance sensor board based on Lidar technology. The sensor operates within a range of up to 50 cm and is powered from 3 V to 5.5 V. It has one digital output that changes its state to low when an object is detected. The sensor module does not measure distance; it only informs about obstacle detection at a distance of 50 cm with an accuracy of 1 mm. Short-range Lidar technology is used to accurately measure the time it takes for eye-safe infrared light pulses to reach the nearest object and reflect back.
