All about the product
Pimoroni Amigo Pro LiPo charging module with built-in MCP73831 chip. It is designed for Li-Polymer batteries and Li-Ion batteries with a nominal voltage of 3.7 V. In default mode, the maximum charging current is 200 mA, but in fast charging mode it is possible to charge up to 500 mA. The built-in LED informs about the charge level. LiPo Amigo Pro has two JST-PH connectors, thanks to which the user can simultaneously charge the battery and power an external device with a voltage of up to 4.2 V. The XB6096I2S system, which the charger is equipped with, provides protection of the cell against overheating and overcharging.
