Bondtech CHT tips split the plastic into 3 thinner strands, allowing the material to be melted from the inside out. This results in faster melting and higher flow rates.

Brass tips are nickel plated to protect against corrosion, erosion and wear. Nickel plated tips have greater corrosion resistance and a lower coefficient of friction, which allows for better material feed and delays plastic adhesion to the tip surface.
