The Arduino Motor Add-on allows your Arduino to control DC and stepper motors, relays, solenoids.
The Arduino Motor Shield is based on the L29, which is a dual full-bridge controller designed to drive inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, DC and stepper motors. It allows you to control two DC motors with an Arduino board, controlling the speed and direction of each. You can also measure the current draw of each motor. The shield is TinkerKit compatible, meaning you can quickly build projects by connecting TinkerKit modules to the board.
